Living on Cape Cod, and having over thirty years landscaping experience, I am constantly running into issues with those using leaf blowers, instead of raking or sweeping. Given that I suffer from major pollen issues in the spring, my allergies are often pushed to extremes when exposed to leaf blowers clearing the sand off business parking lots. I have observed far too often, workers operating the blowers excessively, going over the same spot multiple times just to burn hours.
Until these blowers are replaced with vacuums that are quieter, and that have filters, the ban should stand.
