About this blog (and us)

As the debate about personal rights to use leaf blowers versus rights to peace and quiet unfold, we want to say, it's not about the noise.

At least, not only about the noise. We think the health and safety arguments are much more compelling, and everyone should know about them.

Think it over, won't you?

We are two Arlington dads who met at Town Meeting, where we serve as elected members from our respective neighborhoods. We did not sponsor the new leaf-blower bylaw.

This blog is our first time working together. We plan to publish information about the health hazards from the normal operation of leaf blowers.

We will also write from time to about the upcoming special election to repeal Arlington's new restrictions on gas-powered leaf blowers and other local developments.

Adam Auster has been a Town Meeting member from East Arlington (Precinct 3) since 2006.

Jeremy Marin represents Arlington Heights (Precinct 16) since 2012.
